If you are planning a family or personal vacation within the United States, the USA Travel Information Website will provide you with information you need to plan an exciting and successful trip. Although not all states are included at this time, the travel destination information that is available has been personally researched. Research on new attractions is being done continually and eventually travel destination information for every state will be included.
We currently have travel destination information for Alabama, Alaska, Maine and New York available on this website.
In New York we have showcased Niagara Falls, a family or romantic getaway and very popular for weddings. We also have information on traveling to the Adirondack Mountains, the Catskill Mountains, the Central Leatherstocking Region, and the Finger Lakes. All areas have some really great vacation spots to visit no matter what you vacation budget is.
Acadia National Park in Maine provides camping, sightseeing, carriage rides and much more. The Acadia National Scenic Byway goes through the Park. There are actually 4 National Scenic Byways in Maine. We have included information on all of them.
Alabama has some great State Parks that provide an affordable vacation spot full of awesome views and tons of activities for every member of the family. Also included is information on Battleship Memorial Park, a military museum featuring military aircraft, de-commissioned subs and more.
Alaska is the home of Mount McKinley which is 20,320 feet tall and the highest peak in the USA. It is located in Denali National Park. Information on the park, and Denali State Park are included, as well as information on the Alaska Marine Highway. The Alaska Marine Highway, is a system of ferry transport which begins in Bellingham, Washington and provides service to coastal towns and cities in Alaska that provide a wide variety of sightseeing and entertainment.
In addition to travel information for each state, this site will include 3 or 4 regional events or attractions based on season for each region of the United States listed on this site. We hope to have these events researched and placed on the website for the summer 2008 season.
